How to get to Møn
Møn lies south-east of Zealand and is best known for Møns Klint: a brilliant white chalk cliff coastline that brings to mind Rügen or the White Cliffs of Dover. Unlike Bornholm or Funen, Møn has no ferry port of its own with a connection to Germany. The good news is that the island is permanently linked to Zealand by bridges, so you drive all the way through to the cliffs.
Møn has no ferry of its own
There is no ferry connection from Germany direct to Møn. The island has been permanently linked to Zealand by the Dronning Alexandrines Bro since 1943, when it replaced the earlier ferry between Kalvehave and Koster. To get there, you combine a Baltic ferry crossing to Denmark with the onward drive over the Danish bridges.

Via Rostock - Gedser

Via Puttgarden - Rødby
The fastest Baltic crossing is the Vogelfluglinie from Puttgarden to Rødby on Lolland, in just 45 minutes. From Rødby, you take the E47 and the Farøbroerne to Zealand and continue south to Kalvehave. Scandlines runs this route as well as Rostock - Gedser.
The final stretch: over the bridge to Møn
From Kalvehave in southern Zealand, the Dronning Alexandrines Bro (also known as Mønbroen) crosses the Ulvsund strait to Koster on Møn. The 746-metre bridge opened in 1943 and is toll-free. From there it is just a few minutes to the main town of Stege, and around half an hour further to the chalk cliffs of Møns Klint in the east of the island.
