Getting there and the terminal
For the Spodsbjerg ferry port on Langeland, head for Ny Spodsbjergvej 339B, 5900 Rudkøbing. You reach Langeland from Funen via the Langeland Bridge at Rudkøbing; from Svendborg it's around 30 minutes to the terminal, then follow road 305 eastwards on the island. The port of Tårs on Lolland is at Spodsbjergvej 20, 4912 Harpelunde. Coming from Germany, take the E47 (Fehmarn Belt) and from Rødby it's a good 45 minutes west to Tårs. Both terminals are small and easy to find, with parking right by the port; since only this one operator runs the route, there's no need to search for the right terminal.
Check-in and departure
You should be checked in at least 15 minutes before departure, which applies equally to cars, motorbikes, mopeds, bicycles and foot passengers. Loose trailers, unaccompanied vehicles and special transports need 30 minutes. If you miss the deadline, your space reservation lapses. Check-in runs via the machines right at the terminal; booking online in advance is recommended, but spontaneous tickets from the machine are also possible. Carry a valid photo ID, as the operator may carry out ID checks and can turn away travellers without one.

The route is served by the two identical sister ships M/F Langeland and M/F Lolland, with space for up to 122 cars and around 600 passengers. Arrival and onward travel
In Tårs on Lolland, secondary road 9 leads straight away from the port; after around 45 minutes you reach Rødby and the Fehmarn Belt towards Germany, or you can take the Great Belt Bridge to Zealand and Copenhagen. In Spodsbjerg on Langeland, road 305 takes you to Rudkøbing and on across the Langeland Bridge to Funen; Svendborg is about 30 minutes away. The port at Tårs also has motorhome pitches and a small campsite if you want to stay overnight before the crossing.
